Over the winter months, we’ve been busy behind the scenes as usual making improvements to the campsite so you all have an even more comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable stay this summer.
Here’s a little update on what’s been happening on top of the usual maintenance jobs and what you can look forward to when you visit us.
Toilet and Shower Block Upgrade
One of our biggest projects this winter has been a full upgrade of our toilet and shower facilities.
We have:
- Replaced all of the toilets and widened the cubicles
- Installed new ceilings in both the toilet and shower areas
These improvements have helped us create a cleaner, brighter, and more modern space.
A Brand-New Playground
For our younger visitors, we’ve also been very busy improving the play area.
The old playground has now been replaced with a larger and more exciting playset. It’s a space where children can climb, explore and play while parents can relax nearby knowing they’re having fun in a safe environment.
Improved Pitch Drainage
We know how important good ground conditions are for a comfortable camping experience, especially during periods of wet weather.
After some flooding on pitches during heavy rain last year, we have installed new land drainage systems in th affected areas to significantly improve the condition of our pitches.
This means that even after heavy rain, the ground will drain more effectively, helping to reduce waterlogging and making your stay more enjoyable and reliable throughout the season.
New Woodland Walks to Explore
We’ve also taken the opportunity to enhance our beautiful woodland.
New walking paths have been created through the trees, giving guests more opportunities to explore, enjoy nature, and take in the calm surroundings at their own pace.
Whether you’re out for a morning stroll with the dog or playing hide and seek with the kids, these new routes offer a lovely way to expore the site.

Every winter; we work to improve and develop the campsite while trying to retain its relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and we’re excited for you to experience the changes.
